After installing RUN.GPS Trainer UV you first have to get used to the new interface. It's a big confusing at the first time but once you're used to it, it works great. All the graphics look a better and there are more speech options. That's the greatest thing I like, you can hear what your stats are during your trip. I put my PDA always away so I cannot see it but I listen to music while RUN.GPS tells me how fast I am cycling. It's very simple to compare your tracks to the last time to see if you gain in speed or distance. Afterwards you can simply upload your track to there portal server and see it on Google maps. Together with the analysis like I showed before it gives you all the information you need.

There are still things that need improvement, apart from the text sometimes not fitting on a button (assume it's a beta problem) the big "problem" with all those programs like RUN.GPS or GPSTuner is that the background maps are not easy to import. You have to make screen dumps from Google maps and imported them.

All together it works fine on my PDA while cycling, the only thing I still miss is heart rate monitoring but that's more a hardware problem then software. More about that in my next post.
